How to Install and Sign into Windows Live! Messenger
Open Up Internet explorer or Firefox and go to: http://get.live.com/messenger/overview once there you need to click the "Get it Free" button in the top left section of the page. You will then be asked if you would like to open or save the file, click save.
Now save the file some where you will be
able to find it, our suggestion is some where
on the desktop.
Once the file is downloaded you will be
prompted to install it. If you are not prompted
simply double click the file located on your
computer and you will be prompted.
To continue click Run
Windows XP will now prompt you again for
security reasons. You will need to click
Run again to run the software.
Un-tick all but the top option here as
most of these options will only generate
spam emails from Microsoft and their
business partners.
Now that the program is fully installed,
the installer program will ask you to
finished the installation. To do this click
close.
That’s it the software is installed.
Now you are going to want to log in and
start using your newly installed software,
to do this you must log on using the user
name and password that you created in the
previous guide.
Enter these details now and click sign in to
continue.
Your all done and ready to start using Windows Live!
